05 March 2021

The ASC hosted a digital course series covering the fundamentals of laparoscopic training, specifically for 12 surgeons located 7.000km away, countrywide in Kenya. These lectures were hosted in an interactive, digital format and included procedures such as diagnostic laparoscopy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and laparoscopic appendectomy. Additional learning materials were hosted on the ASC learning platform.

Twelve Laparoscopic boxes were sent to Kenyan surgeons to be able to develop their hands-on laparoscopic skills. For the next three weeks, their progress will be interactively followed and we are looking forward to seeing the outcome of this course!
