Project Description
A course specifically designed for non-interventional pain practitioners wanting to understand the world of Neuromodulation, so they have a better understanding of available techniques and patient selection.
This hands-on cadaver training, with the use of fluoroscopically and ultrasound to guide pain medicine interventions, will be under the guidance of master clinicians. Procedures and relevant technologies taught will include Multifidus muscle stimulation, Spinal cord stimulation, Dorsal root ganglion stimulation, Peripheral nerve stimulation, Vertebrobasilar nerve ablation and Intrathecal pumps.
The course will cover technical aspects of the procedures, patient selection, relevant clinical data, and pearls for success. The course will feature twelve cadaver stations, two per subject and six rotations, for teaching the procedures with image guidance.
During the course, participants will be able to ask questions and get personal experience with the technical aspects, using a human cadaver and fluoroscopic guidance to learn, practice, and enhance their skills for these implantation procedures.
